Monuments
This series of Polaroids consists of 3D modeled scenes that are inspired by or directly quote images of architecture and monuments from science fiction films. The images are created digitally and then scanned to Polaroid film. The staging of the images is meant to evoke the feeling of sightseeing or vacation photos taken in a purely fictional landscape. They could also be viewed as a sci-fi reimagining of the Becher's water towers. But, you know, fake.
